10-29-16 Shannon Airfield Halloween Candy Drop

 Karli & I took Bonnye to the Shannon Airfield for a Candy Drop. They had games for them to play and get little prizes and a costume contest by age groups. There was an air show put on by the Flying Circus and they had some of the planes on display too.There wee some really cute costumes. She got to sit in a helicopter just before the drop.

10-23-16 Snead's Farm Fall Festival

Family went to check things out here this year. It was a lot of fun and we didn't do everything, so will probably return next year. Bonnye and Abbi had fun. They loved the pumpkin patch and Abbi especially loved the hayride.

NC State Red Hat Convention

Had a fabulous time at the NC State Red Hat Convention & Birthday Bash (for Sharon Benfield's 50th) in Cary, NC. Met some Facebook friends and finally got to meet Linda Gill the Queen and Founder of the Sock Monkey Sisterhood and we got a group picture of all of us there. Barbara Lucas and Bev Kronthal rode there and back with me. Barb was my hotel roomie and one of my table mates. We had a great time.

Happy day again! Great-niece Reagan was born today. Born, 10/10 at 1:46pm, 8 lbs. 11 ozs., 20 ins. She is beautiful.
