Christmas 2015

Had a wonderful Christmas with Bonnye, Karli and Jacob. We did our dinner on Christmas Eve, so they could go to Karli's folks on Christmas Day for dinner. So fun to watch a child coming out on Christmas morning to see what Santa has brought them. We all got some fabulous gifts. Mine was once again money for ordering stamps.

 Waiting to come out!

Dancing around yelling "Santa came, Santa came!"

 Loves her stick horse!

Cool plane that came with a drill to unassemble and reassemble it with.

Loves her new baby doll and stroller

Karli loved the book Harold found for her!

Jacob was happy to finally get his Football Mickey Mouse.

 Harold enjoyed his gifts.

This was his main gift from me. He actually got it before Christmas and had picked it out when he saw it at the Craft Show we went to.

My stocking stuffers. I also got the newest (Twenty-Two) Janet Evanovich book )signed copy)

Alice brought over a gift for Bonnye and our fruit and snack basket.

Dressed and ready to go to her other PawPaw and G-Pat's house.

Cookies she decorated for them.

12-22-15 Illuminate Light Show

This year we decided to check out the Illuminate Light Show near Kings Dominion that you drive thru. It was really cool and definitely something we will do again. Bonnye loved it. We visited Santa's Village afterwards and got out picture taken inside a giant snowglobe.

 Riding the little carousel.

Proudly showing pawpaw her Octopus balloon.

She got to ride a second time.

The ballon octopus she chose to get instead of a Christmas character.

12-05-15 Fredericksburg Christmas Parade

Harold and I took Bonnye to the parade this year. Her first one. She had a good time and luckily it wasn't super cold like it has been in past years. The highlights for Bonnye were seeing Elsa and then at the end when we were leaving we saw Santa unloading from his sleigh and he stopped and let us take a picture with him.

Bonnye enjoying a cookie while waiting for the parade to start.

Bonnye was excited about seeing Elsa in the parade!

Giving Thanks

This year we once again, kept it simple and even more so. We just had a turkey with the fixins' this year and just family. Jacob made the mashed potatoes this year. Harold bought the pies.

 Jacob and I prepping together.

 Turkey is looking good!

 Working on the cornbread dressing.

 Table set, food ready.

 Everything was delicious.

 Bonnye loved the rolls!

This was the casserole made with the leftover turkey and dressing on Sat.
