September My Paper Pumpkin - Boo-tiful Bags

Love, love, love this month's MPP! They revealed it at convention in July, so those that went shared pics and I have been anxiously awaiting it since then. Can't wait to get together with my customer's that signed up for it and are coming over on the 27th to put them together and adding a few things to it. This kit comes with 6 bags and lots of labels. Also, plan to make some cards with the leftover elements and a few of the extra tags.

Added a few things to a few of mine (ghosts or pumpkins) during the class.

 

 

The ghost below is from some things that Melodye brought with her for everyone to use. The pumpkin (below) and ghost (above) is cut out using Stampin' Up!'s Fun Fall Framelit Dies (#135856, $24.95) Used Dazzling Diamond Glitter Paper and rubbed the Tangelo Twist ink pad over it to color. and then stamped the face with Memento Tuxedo Black (or you can use Black Stazon) from the Fall Fest stamp set (#135194, $15.95 polymer) that coordinates with the Fun Fall Dies. The bundle with both is #137628, $34.75.

 

These are Melodye's bags and some of the goodies they filled them with.She and Margarethe went and bought them for me as I had been without a car and not able to go get any and then they donated them for everyone to use.

I'm a Great- Auntie Again

Yeah! We are Great- Auntie & Uncle again on 08/23/2014. Welcome to the family Finn George Blanc! He weighed in at 7 pounds and 13 ounces.

It's Hubby's Birthday!

Shhhhhh! We're gettin' old! We took the old man out to dinner. He loves Texas Roadhouse and we have one here now, but hadn't had an opportunity to go yet. Jacob and Karli treated us for his birthday. He really enjoyed it and we even got them to sing "Happy Birthday" to him and he was a good sport and got up on the saddle. He even took a photo-op with my birthday sock monkey (the one he gave me on my birthday a few years ago, although he did try to strangle him).

Our 37th Anniversary

Wow! 37 years, has that much time really passed. Seems like we just got married. Hard to believe that many years have passed and we have 2 grown boys, a wonderful daughter-in-law, a grandson (George's son, Brexton) and granddaughter (Jacob & Karli's dtr., Bonnye). Jacob and Karli took us out for a wonderful dinner to celebrate at our fave place, Carlos O'Kelly's.

Robyn & McKay are married!

Our beautiful niece, Robyn got married on July 29th to McKay Williams. We were unable to be there and anxiously awaited pics. Aren't they adorable!

Bonnye is now 2!

Had a wonderful time with our sweet Bonnye Anne today for her birthday. Karli made her a fabulous flag birthday cake (from scratch as always). Harold grilled up some hamburgers if mixed up and I also made some baked beans and Jacob made some buttered potatoes. After we ate and enjoyed cake and ice cream and gave Bonnye her presents, they headed over to Karli's parents house for another cake treat made by Grandpa Comden (chocolate with peanut butter icing) and the watch some great neighborhood fireworks. Bonnye is spending the night with her Grandma and Grandpa Comden. First time staying with them without mommy and daddy. Tomorrow we are just chillin' and Sunday we plan to take her out to Lake Anna for her first lake experience.

Divine 9 - Once Upon a Time Event

I won a competition to attend this event and had a fantastic time. It was held at the Westin Richmond, VA from Mar. 7-9. My roomie was Debbie Uttecht from Omaha, Nebraska and we were meeting for the first time. I think we hit it off well. I attended with 7 other of my Scarlet Sophisticate Sisters.
