Sr. Ctr. June Cards

Had a few new ladies at the Sr. Ctr. this time and they all made some great cards.

Afterwards, BJ and I went to lunch at "High Tides" and spotted some swans swimming towards the "Riverboat Restaurant on the Potomac". We headed over there after we ate and found her friend Art feeding 5 swans and seagulls. He apparently goes their often to feed the birds.

"Alright Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up!"

Before leaving Art showed us a Peking duck hidden in the shrubs sitting on her nest of 11 eggs. Hope I get to see the ducklings next time.

Also saw several Osprey on their nest with hatchlings.

When I got home I spotted this beautiful butterfly flitting around my Purple cone flowers (Echinecia). From what I researched I believe it is a Great Spangled Fritillary.

Precious got out and was trying to catch it. Lucky, she was not successful and I caught her and got her back inside.
