Pumpkin Pickin'

Had a great family outing over this past weekend. We took Bonnye to Westmoreland Berry Farm to pick a pumpkin and enjoy their Fall Festival things. We saw a goat on the cross over and then fed it when it was up on the tall perch, she went down the slide with both her daddy and pawpaw and wiped out big time with pawpaw.   Bonnye also enjoyed riding in the cow train all by herself. Then we took the wobbly wagon ride to the pumpkin patch and picked a small one for her and a bigger one for me. We all did the Apple Shoot (slingshot). Didn't get a picture, but Bonnye and I did one together, we did pretty good, just missed the targets. Daddy and pawpaw each hit the target once and earned a coupon for a free soft ice cream. Bonnye picked some ducks and won a little tattoo sticker.

Before leaving we hit the Twinkles Café and got the free ice creams and Harold and I got the fruit ice cream sundaes. He got blueberry and I got peach and they were both loaded with fruit under and on top. Soooooo good! Wish I had remembered to take a picture of them. I also got an egg salad sandwich and it was on homemade bread and loaded and was delicious. Again, should have taken a picture.

 Instead of saying "Cheese!", she threw up her arms (holding her ice cream coupon) and yelled "Ice cream!"
