We're Nana & PawPaw again during the first snowstorm of the season!

Finally our sweet little Abigail Elizabeth has arrived. Born on the first day of the big storm of this winter on Friday, 01/22/2016 at 5:34pm. 7 lbs. 9 ozs., 19.5" at Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital. Due to the storm coming in, we were unable to go up with them and then of course they were snowed in, so we didn't get to see her in person until Monday. We took care of Bonnye and had a lot of fun with her in the snow.

Karli's Baby Bump - Week 24

This picture was taken at Caleb's birthday party on Mar. 3. She is right at 24 weeks along.

This one was taken a few weeks earlier when they were home.

I have already started buying little girl baby clothes and having so much fun doing so. I had taken Karli out to buy maternity clothes right after taking this picture (she is wearing one outfit it the top picture) and of course we came home with some outfits for the baby as well. Forgot to take pictures of those. Need to do so when I go see them. :-) I have picked up a few things since then and am putting them away to make a basket for the shower. So much fun!

They're Having A Girl!

After the trend set by my nieces of all having boys (6 great-nephews in all) and my oldest son and DIL having a boy (my cute and adorable grandson), my youngest son and DIL are breaking it. They are having a GIRL!!!! We are so excited. Here are the sonograms from yesterday. Jacob said that she was moving all over and stretching and it looks like she is going to have very long legs, unfortunately they didn't get a shot of her stretching.

My niece Risa, is expecting her 3rd baby and hopefully we will know soon if she will break the trend as well. She has 2 cute little boys now, so we are crossing our fingers for a little girl (or at least I am -LOL!)  UPDATE: Risa is also having a girl and they plan to name her Bonnye Risa. Jacob and Karli are naming their girl Bonnye Anne. I am so excited that they both are naming them after their Aunt Bonnye.
