02-14-21 Happy Valentine's Day

Just a light dusting that melted that afternoon. Finally got a picture of Bonnye's snow-woman. She's melted a bit. Dinner at Cheddar's with hubby and Bonnye for Valentine's. First time there. Pictures of the cards I made for the family here. I mailed out quite a few Valentine's Day cards to family & a few friends.

Valentine's Day

I made Harold his card with a little mouse on it again this year (5th year with a mousy on his card). The card was inspired by one done by Robin Messenheimer, you can see hers here. I made a few changes.

I used the Valentine Defined set in the current Occassions Mini. The mouse was made using the Wide Oval punch for the body and the wing from the 2-step bird punch trimmed down for the ear and the branch with leaves cut off for the tail. The hearts are from the Heart to Heart punch.

Here are my gifts from my sweet hubby:

I love this little rose bush and can't wait for the weather to get nice and plant it in my garden. I think I will put a little votive in the lady bug after that.

Valentine's Day

Hope everyone had a very "Happy Valentine's Day!"

We went out to dinner at our favorite - Carlos O'Kelly's Mexican restaurant on Sat. and today we tried to go to the movies, but the one we wanted to see was sold out - Lightning Thief. We may try tomorrow. Harold gave me some beautiful flowers and I gave him a small box of chocolates and a card. Now for the last 3 years the cards I have made him have managed to have a mouse on them and I decided to keep with the new tradition. However, I did not have a new mouse stamp to use, but then I remembered this little punch mouse that was being made at Christmas and decided he was perfect and I had to make him.
