04-11-15 Louisiana Bound

Loved visiting family and friends in Texas. Wish we could stay longer, but I really wanted to see family in Louisiana as well. The bluebonnet sightings became less and less as we left the Ft. Worth area and we started seeing a lot of the maroon clover all the way to Uncle Shelby's house in Eunice.

 Goodbye to the beautiful bluebonnets

 

 Stopped at the LA Rest Area.

 

 Stopped seeing bluebonnets while still in TX and started seeing these maroon flowers everywhere along the roadside.

 

 Stopped in a little roadside store in Natchitoches for gas and got some fried and regular boudin.

Both were delicious.

 Always seeing these white daisies as well. Love daisies.
